So, awesome things happen when you least expect it to. That's the great thing about the way life works; you can have the crappiest day, month or year and the in an instant it can all turn around for the better. I've come to realize that this mainly happens in a department I like to call: R-E-L-A-T-I-O-N-S-H-I-P-S, aka, RELATIONSHIPS.
You meet someone, hit it off, become friends and who knows where it goes from there... But when it hits you so forcefully and it's like you never saw it coming, that's when it really counts. In my past, I have chased love and have had love chase me. It's the game. It's always a game; "oh, I want him so I have to go chase him," -or- "oh, I want her, so I have to chase her." But the game isn't necessarily worth playing. Think about it... Why play "the game" when you can just focus on yourself and do ya thang, and then all of a sudden you'll get sideswiped by the best person in the entire world? Okay, maybe "sideswiped" was the wrong word, but someone amazing comes along when you least expected it.
That's the fun in it all, isn't it? Working, going to school, hanging out with friends, hitting the gym, or whatever you do, you never expect to find the person of your dreams standing right in front of you. It can happen in a way that you never thought it would (online dating, match made by a friend, whatever) and it can turn out to be something so incredibly beautiful. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I am so optimistic about finding true love these days it makes me even sick sometimes. But it always happens when you least expect it. That has been my experience with love and relationships and finding someone when you feel as though you're about to give up on love completely.
